Mrs. MaiKo Yang, School Counselor

Welcome to my website!  

My name is MaiKo Yang, and I am one of the school counselors here at MPMS. I work with all the 6th grade students and will also work with 7th grade students who are on the Pfeiffer Team.  I have been a school counselor for 17 years, and this is my 9th year with Cabarrus County Schools.  

I grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and attended both my graduate and undergraduate schools there.  I am married and have four children.  My oldest daughter graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, and my other three children are still attending schools in Cabarrus County Schools.  During my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music and watching movies.
