Remote Learning Plan
In the event that a remote learning day is called, students will participate in asynchronous instruction. Asynchronous instruction means that students will complete lessons and assignments on their own schedule, rather than in real-time with a teacher. While there will be no live class sessions, all assignments and materials will be provided, and students are expected to work independently to complete the tasks for the day.
If you experience any connectivity issues or difficulties with completing the work, please remember that according to CCS School Board Policy, students have up to five (5) days to submit their assignments upon returning to school. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility with remote learning.
Specific instructions for your school's remote learning plan are as follows:
Students have been given packets in homeroom that have the lessons for up to 4 days. Students should complete the assignments that are labeled Day 1 in all classes for the first remote day. Teachers have included 4 days of work in the event that remote learning is called for multiple days. If your student does not have a packet (he or she may have been absent on the day before a remote day or might have lost the packet) here are electronic copies of the lessons that were sent home. Students may record their answers to the lessons on notebook paper and turn those in to the teachers.
HOW TO LOGIN TO YOUR CHROMEBOOK OFF CAMPUS
Internet filtering will now be the same whether the student is on or off campus. However, when a student is off campus, the login process will be different. Click here for directions.
All work should be turned in on the day students return to school.
