History and Background

Mt. Pleasant Middle School is located approximately 8 miles east of Concord, NC, at 466 Walker Road. There are about 650 students enrolled in grades six through eight. MPMS was opened in August, 2017, at its present site.

Our administrators are:
Mr. Rick Money, Principal
Mr. Andy Maness, API
Mrs. Logan Barrier, AP

School colors are royal blue and gold.
The school mascot is the tiger.

Mission Statement

To educate the whole child through building positive and impactful relationships, providing engaging and meaningful instruction properly aligned to standards, providing memorable experiences that foster a desire for lifelong learning, and celebrating student success and character.
